The Scholarship Squad: A Surprise at the Front Door

There is no better way to celebrate a milestone than with a surprise knock on the door!  This year, our Scholarship Squad, in union with the Flagler Education Foundation, will take to the streets to personally deliver award packages to our incredible high school seniors from Flagler Palm Coast High School.

Armed with oversized checks, bundles of balloons, and plenty of cheers, the Squad traveled across the county to turn quiet afternoons into life-changing celebrations.  These visits are more than just a delivery—they are a community-wide “high-five” for the hard work, resilience, and brilliance these students have shown throughout their high school careers.

The Spring Arts Festival & Garden Show is a signature community event presented by the Flagler County Cultural Council (FC3) in partnership with the Garden Club at Palm Coast. Recognized as one of the largest one-day events in the county, it transforms Central Park into a vibrant hub of creativity and nature.

Beats & Eats is a new monthly community event launching in May 2026 that combines the familiar Food Truck Tuesday experience with live concert entertainment from the Palm Coast Concert Series.

This month’s event will be hosted by the Hispanic American Cultural Society, Inc. (HACS).  Live entertainment will be provided by SoulFire, and HACS is proud to sponsor the kids’ face painting area.

We look forward to seeing you there.  This is a fun event for all ages, and everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the evening.

Hosted by the Hispanic American Cultural Society team, this event brings together the smoky flavors of a classic backyard cookout with the heart of local advocacy.  All proceeds from the day go directly toward our scholarship fund for Flagler County high school seniors on the spectrum.

Get ready to dust off your dancing shoes for a night of recognition.  The Annual Scholarship Fundraiser Dance brings the community together for an unforgettable evening of rhythm, style, and support for our local graduates.

Whether you’re a ballroom pro or a “freestyle” enthusiast, this event is all about celebrating the bright futures of our scholarship recipients in Flagler County.

Experience a whirlwind of color, rhythm, and tradition at the Annual Hispanic Heritage Dance Showcase!  This centerpiece of our Hispanic Heritage celebration brings the soul of Latin America and the Caribbean to life through a breathtaking display of movement and storytelling.

From the mountains of the Andes to the islands of the Caribbean, this showcase features a diverse lineup of performers representing the unique cultural heartbeat of various Hispanic nations.

A Legacy Honored: The City Proclamation of Hispanic Heritage Month

In a powerful tribute to culture, service, and community, the City of Palm Coast officially recognizes the Hispanic American Cultural Society (HACS) with a formal proclamation declaring National Hispanic Heritage Month.

This ceremony, held in the City Hall Council Chambers, serves as a public testament to the vital role the Hispanic community plays in the economic, cultural, and social prosperity of our region.  From the arts and education to local business and civic leadership, the impact of HACS and its members is felt across every corner of the city.

Building a strong community starts with staying informed and getting involved.  The “Connecting to Palm Coast” Expo (often referred to via the Palm Coast Connect platform) is the city’s premier outreach event designed to bridge the gap between residents and the organizations that serve them.

Hosted by the City of Palm Coast, this high-energy expo serves as a “one-stop shop” for anyone looking to learn more about their city, whether they are a new resident or a long-time neighbor looking to give back.

The grand finale of a year dedicated to purpose and passion has arrived!  The 4th Annual Hispanic American Cultural Society Gala & Alianza Awards is the crowning jewel of our calendar.  On this night, we transition from the hard work of fundraising to the joy of celebration.

Held at the elegant Italian American Social Club, this evening marks the formal conclusion of our most successful scholarship drive to date.  We are closing the year with true elan and sophisticated style, honoring the students who inspire us and the partners who make our mission possible and us.

A Table for Everyone: The HACS Thanksgiving Outreach

The true spirit of the Hispanic American Cultural Society (HACS) is rooted in familia, and that family extends to every neighbor in need within our community.  Our Annual Thanksgiving Outreach Event is a heart-led initiative dedicated to ensuring that no one in Flagler County goes without a warm meal or a sense of belonging during the holiday season.

In a season defined by gratitude, HACS members, volunteers, and local partners come together to serve people in need, older people, and those facing hardship with dignity, respect, and a touch of Hispanic hospitality.

The Flagler County Public Library serves as the cultural heart of our community, and it is a place where the Hispanic American Cultural Society (HACS) is proud to participate in the Annual Festival of Christmas Trees & Wreaths.  Together with other organizations, we display our Christmas Trees for all citizens to admire.  Our partnership with the library is a vital part of our mission to promote Hispanic literacy, education, and cultural exchange for all Flagler County residents.

Through this collaboration, HACS and other organizations help transform the library into a vibrant space where Hispanic heritage is not just stored in books but celebrated in action.
